How do i bleed my 1800 escort van and how do i prime the fuel filter ?

You should have a rubber 'button' on top of the fuel filter.

Press this repeatedly until it goes firm, then try starting. Repeat until bored or engine starts, whichever comes first.

Best done with two people, one cranking engine & other pumping button to keep the system full of fuel.

loosen the connection at the fuel regulator on the engine and allow the air to escape.  When nothing but fuel comes out of the line, it should be pretty close/

check on top of the fuel filter,it should have a pump on it...pump and turn over at the same time...if it only has a filter then loosed the injector pipes onn at the injectors...spinn it over till di comes out,tighten and start...

fill the fuel filter with fuel helps..... and starter fluid or break open full line and turn over til fuel starts to pump then tighten
