It's easier to show you than tell you. Most drivers don't like to blind side, because their judgement is not as good and you can't see a thing from the driver side. Practice is the best thing to tell you.

You are talking of the illegal, dangerous, and sometimes deadly practice of drafting I presume?  Unless you have a death wish, don't even consider it.  I am amazed at how many people over the years think drafting is a good idea, they don't think of the fact they could get killed.
