How do i block a phone number?

its a land line, is there a free way to do this? i would think it should be something built into the phone since my phone has caller id, there should be like a block button like on Instant message when a certain person calls.

yes, there is something but its not free....!

its a caller ID manager....you have to purchase this gizmo, so its a one time charge, but then its yours forever!!

most of the VoIP providers have block call for free, but not landlines......the caller ID comes from your providers data-bank!!

With some phone feature packages you get Selective Call Rejection, or something similar.

You can test this by dialing *60.  If it doesnt say anything, you dont have it.
