How do i bring a song thats in my playlist on my sony ericsson w580i to be my ring tune?

well i went on my play list and went on that song so i could set it as my ring tune but, it always say's this song can't be set as a ring tune. Is there another way or something ? just a a good answer yes and why 10 points

download a "drm packager " to your computer convert ur song , if you want u can shorten it before with a program to make it custom , i use to use mp3 trim to make ringtones ect for our sony collection here , on you computer u can drag and drop it in to ur ring tones folder on ur cell with the sony software .   it's been awhile as i use a smartphone now and can edit everything on my phone now
