  1. Mother's (that's the name of the company) makes a product called Back to Black that is especially for black trim. It comes in a red package and should be at any major auto parts store. It is very good I used it to restore the trim on an older Volkswagen I bought a couple of years ago. The product soaked into the trim and it looked brand new. The trim even looked the same way after I washed the vehicle.

  2. try some(back to black). auto zone sells it.

  3. black is black.  There is no light black or deep black.  There is dirty.  There is flat black and gloss black (satin is in-between in sheen)

If it is a shiny black, I would use ArmourAll, just like you use on the tire sidewalls.

Otherwise, take a fingernail brush and some dish soap and scrub the trim to clean off the dirt.   The dirt is lighter in color than black making the black greyish.  Waxes and other polishes do the same leaving a whitish residue.  Just do a small test area, and then dry it off and take a gander at the results.

Really, black is a "beetch" to keep clean.

  4. On my old jeep, I use mink oil or Vaseline. About every 6 months I rub it in, leave it for afew hours, then wipe it off.

  5. Hi,If you can handle a spray can, they have spray paint available for plastic.Fortunately the color is black that you need, which is easy to match.I would clean all the junk  you have  on the car now,and try the paint.Try it on the end of the rear bumper to see how it looks.Good Luck
