How do i burn mpg files to a DVD+R so I can watch them on my t.v.?

  1. If you don't already have one the first thing you will need is a drive capable of writing DVDs. It should have DVD/RW on it.

    If your computer has this or if you go and buy one then it should have come with some software that will create DVDs for you by someone like Roxio, Nero etc. Typically the software will help you lay out the DVD menus and will convert MPG files as part of building the DVD.


  2. You have to convert your mpg file to DVD format (VOB or MPEG-2) at first, or else it can't be played on general DVD player. I always use avs video tools to convert and burn DVD, it works nice, you may download it for a try, here is a guide about it
