How do i buy a mercedes from USA and then deliver it to my Indian residence?

I am about to buy a mercedes car from USA since it much cheaper and has lot more features. But I want to know if i can deliver it to my home in India?If so, how?

Why do you want Mercedes, all desis like it. You should get a BMW cause it's the best. I was going to get a Benz but it sucked so I got the BMW and it's the best car. I love it and so should you.

I think you have to search for a shipping company. To buy the car go to Yahoo US and click on Autos or Yahoo Autos. They will have a page with every Mercedes on it. Also, go to www.e-bay.com and find autos there, also. They have a website called E-bay Autos. It's most likely you will find the best deal by far on a car at e-bay. Then, work out the shipping with the e-bay seller.

it is quite simple. if you are loaded with money u can do anything you want. book the car as cargo by air, pay the airline heavily and then almost 150 % customsa duties in India. if u buy a car in us and let us say it costs you rs 20 lakhs then the same car including freight and customs duties will cost u aroung 40 lakhs and above. secondaly have u checked whether u are allowed to import a car as an individual.

Well you have to get it shipped on a boat thats for sure. Call one of the overseas shipping companies and ask them for a shipping quote. You might have to meet them at the port to pay for duties and whatnot if you have that there. Shouldn't be too hard though... good luck!
