How do i calm my cat? please help!

I have 3 cats; one of them hates the others! She is from the same litter as one of them and the other is younger! She is a Manx, she loves food but if we feed her too much she'll throw it all up because she is so nervous! She spends most of her day in my room, away from the other kitties! She is really sweet and likes the cuddle; she doesn't hide under bed, thankfully! She likes to play and is almost 5 years old!!!

Are there any products that would be good for her so she’s not so nervous? Please answer if you've tried the product and like it! I’ll take any ideas though!

Thanks!

  1. Catnip, yo.

    Or just plain ol' w33d.

  2. Mke sure you pet her A LOT and tell her you love her. Also ask the vet becuase she might has an illness or problem with her nervous system.

  3. Whatever you do do not give her catnip, it will give her more energy. I have a girl kitten as well and what calms her down is just sitting in a box by the window and I pet her a while and she slowly falls asleep. My kitten has a lot of energy too. As for the other cats I say, let her see you playing with the others and maybe she will come and join in out of jealousy. Good Luck!

  4. I have used Feliway diffusers and Bach's Rescue Remedy and each seemed to help.

How is she nervous?  Just in throwing up food and not liking the other cats?  Some cats don't get along with others - that might not be a nervousness issue.  And try giving her smaller portions - that should help with the vomiting.

(I'm assuming you have taken her to the vet and had her checked out, that the vomiting is not from her being sick at all)
