if you can

go to this link http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups click edit my groups on the top left- locate group (if there's more than one) under the last column Leave Group, check small box - click save changes

if you're an e-mail only member, leaving via e-mail will work, it'll just take a few days to reflect

If it is to cancel membership to a group, go to the my groups page http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups and then click edit my groups and put a check mark in the box on the far left to leave the group.
