How do i cash in my esop?

i have stock in hill brothers construction and i want to find out how much its worth and cash it in

  1. Check with your plan administrator.  Much of this will depend on whether the company is privately held or publicly traded.  If it is publicly traded, just look up the price on the stock market pages of your local newspaper or the Wall Street Journal and multiply by the number of shares you hold.  If the shares are privately held, there are probably limitations on when and how you can sell and at what price.  The ESOP administrator will have that information and your hiring person/Human Resources person can get that info for you.


  2. Contact your company.  Hill Brothers is not publicly traded.
