Question:

How do i catch my bird?

its loose in the house because when I took it out to rub it for good luck, it bit me and i let go. I don't know exactly where it went because when it bit me, i had to sit down for a while and cry. I am terrified of it now and don't want to sleep in the house with it loose.

  1. They sell nets at petsmart and petco.  Try to attract it with its favorite snack.


  2. Shut your door, man. Then go to sleep and find him in the morning.

  4. You shouldn't take your bird out if he's  not used to you touching him. I guess you know that now... you can lay out bird food, or something that he is attracted to and see if he'll come for it. Make sure you have something to catch him though, like a net. You could even just throw a blanket on top of him when he's perched somewhere.

  5. You can use a net or try a towel.  Throw a towel over it and then gently pick it up

  6. Get a broomstick or some long stick it can land on, when it does this slowly take it to the cage and put it in. Or, follow it and cover it with a towel when it lands, then pick it up and bring it to the cage.

  7. well first the BIRD will get hungry just make sure it sees its cage and eventually it will fly to it. HE WONT ATTACK u hes scared of u more than u are of him TRUST ME! just try catching it with ur hands and if that doesn't work just let it settle down a little bit.

    and WHY WOULD U BE RUBBING IT FOR GOOD LUCK? the bird obviously doesn't trust u yet

  8. I'm sorry this answer is delayed, but I had to sit and cry a little when I heard what happened to you.

    I think you should move in with me. The bird will die eventually, and imagine the places where it could bite you in your sleep!

    Additionally, I know you love your bird, but maybe we should shoot it. I'll bring some guns over and we will shoot randomly at everything if we hear something. Just don't hit me.

    But before we do all of this, did you use Sarah as bait?
