How do i change a main beam light bulb on a citreon zxara picasso on a 2005 number plate

Assuming it's a sealed beam headlight, you will access the bulb holder assembly from the back of the headlight, which will be in the engine compartment.

It will be  a large circular housing fitted on the back of the light unit which have wires going to it. you may be able to just remove the bulb by removing the electrical plug with the wires going to it and then access the bulb which is held in by a spring clip.

If not the whole light bulb and connector assembly will need to be turned usually anti-clockwise to release the assembly.

If the bulb does not go into the back of this assembly then it goes in from the front, most are rear entry.

You might find info in the hand book for your car.

Access is some times a very limited space in which case make sure you do not pull the wires out ot th connector,

It's not rocket science and with a bit of care you should be able to do it.

Can you change a light bulb in the house?

If yes you are half way there on the car.

I short with difficulty! You need to remove the back cover on the head light, however there is very little space between the light and the battery/air filter.
