How do i change a movie maker file to a wmv file?

i made a video out of some pictures on the movie maker but i want to upload it to youtube and it says that i need to change the file to wmv.. but idont knw how to do that

You need to export the file correctly, you've still got it as a Windows Movie Maker file, please follow the steps below:

1. Open Windows Movie Maker.

2. Import your movie file you've just made (.MSWMM, the one you're trying to upload)

3. Once imported, click "File -> Save Movie File..."

4. Click "Next" on while highlighting "My Computer" in Windows Movie Maker.

5. A: Choose a name for your video; B: Choose a destination.

Then click next and next again.

6. It should now be saving it as a up-loadable file, once it's done click "Finish" and upload that file.

Open the file in Windows Movie Maker.

Once it is open, click on File, then click Publish Movie.  Follow the prompts and choose the format you want to output the movie to.
