How do i change image size for printing?

I need to change 4 images to 5.5inches x 5.5inches to fit in photo frames please help i've been trying to do this for the last 4 hours with no luck !

  1. Hi

    Open them in photoshop and use the mask tool and set it to 5.5 x 5.5 and move it around on the pic to see which part you want to use.

    Now copy/paste it to a new 5.5 x 5.5 page. Do the same for the others.

    Fhotoace is correct in his sizes. Even CD covers, which I do a lot, are 5 x 5


  2. Crop the image into a square format and then save it as a new name so you don't overwrite your original image.

    Then you can have it printed by a lab to a 5.5x5.5 image .... this is an unusual size, 5x5 is the most popular.  If you are printing it yourself, then in the photo program, you can size the image as you print it.  You can get two images on an 8.5 x 11 piece of by manipulating the placing of the image on the paper.
