How do i change my Ctrl commands?

Whenever i press Ctrl + ' it comes up with " instead of @, number two is the at sign, how do i change it back?

please help.

It's in the US mode. Control Panel > Regional & Languages > on the first page change the top one to English (UK) at the bottom change the location to United Kingdom > Advanced > change that to English (United Kingdom).

You're running a different language on the computer to the one your keyboard is marked in.

I'd like to tell you exactly how to fix this, but my help is crashing- but press Windows-H to bring up windows help.

Type something like "keyboard language" in & see where it takes you...
