  1. Try talking with your mouth filled with roti.

  2. It won't be easy.  Accents are hard to lose.  Also, there is no single American accent (there is a Boston accent, a New York accent, a Southeast accent and so on) and no single British accent (there are dozens!).

You could try listening to British or American films, and copying the way the actors speak or hire a dialect coach.

But really, why would you want to?  Won't your friends find it strange that you speak suddenly speak differently?

  3. Practice.  Just sit and read out loud to yourself, whether it be a book or the newspaper.  The more you speak the better your accent will get.

  4. Watch english movies and practice saying the words over and over. Try recording your voice and listening back to help correct yourself. Then in encourage your yourself to speak like that around people. It will greatly improve your indian accent to english. Good luck.

  5. Speak with a dialect coach.
