How do i change my background on msn messenger? 10 points for best answer?!!!!?

I go on tools and backgrounds, i choose one and click set default. I don't think this is right. Please help me.

on ur msn in a convo it should had like a paint brush and a picture click on the picture and upload your background

hi

►to change the background of a convo window

open a convo

go to 'backgrounds'

change to  the blank background or another background

apply/ok

►if wanting to change the MSn main window background

►I did it like that

-copy the image you want to put as background

-once copied, change the name into lvback.gif

then go here

C:/

programme files

windows live

messenger

open the folder

search a file named lvback.gif

put it out of the folder

put the image you changed the name previously in the folder

close

then restart windows live messenger

►if wanting to change the WHOLE MSn layout use a skin

open MSN

PLUS

preferences

customize

skins

import

that takes you to the skins page

select the one you want

set it up

►take care with the following

--» the skin has to be compatible for your MSN version

► if wanting to unistall a skin

start

control panel

add and remove programmes

MSN

'change'

when the wizard comes up select 'repair'

wait til the wizard finishes

sign in again
