How do i change my background on yahoo 360?

Okay I love to help people learn how to do this .. I have so much fun myself.. I just love to share it!

Okay step by step friend.. follow me...

1. go to the top of your MYPAGE. This is your edit page for all of the personal information , blogs, ID pictures, and backgrounds you can use on your Top Page that your friends see.

2. Find the option EDIT THEME that is there and click on it.

3. It takes you to the page where you choose the premade themes Yahoo has for you to use.    CUSTOMIZE YOUR THEME

4.  This will take you back to your MY PAGE and a popup will be present with all of the editing option for changing your background and also the color of your font.. type of font... and the color or make transparent of the modules for your Top Page.

5.  This is VERY IMPORTANT to remember.. Yahoo has three rules for the  images you can use on your backgrounds.

They can't be of violence that will be VERY offensive to others who visit your page unless they are set to mature content. And at no time may you post pornographic images or pedophila images of small children and underage teens..

They must be in the JPEG file format and can't exceed 250kb's in size.

6. On the popup is the option Browse.. click it and it will open up your MY PICTURES file in your computer .. choose an appropriate image and click it to put it into the slot of the popup. Below it are the options for how you want it displayed on your background, tiled. or top or bottom of the page. I always choose  Tiled. It is easier to get an overall image that way.

7. Then below that is the slide color chooser for your font and borders .. click onto the square and it will bring up the slide chooser or you can choose transparentboxes for your information by putting a check into the box on the colorslider that has the word transparent beside it.

8. Then click either preview or save to see what it looks like.

You have made a custom theme .. I have a fantastic time doing this..

and Microsoft has an image resizer for Windows XP that is simply wonderful. Go to the Microsoft Home Page and do a search there for XP Powertoys.. it works great!

Hi there

In the top of your page you will see a Big ? mark.

there click on Edit my theme.

a box will come up. There you will see a little browser, click on the browser, your pictures folder will come up. Choose a picture you will like to display. Jpeg format.

Them click open on your pictures folder.

In the button click on preview, if you like what you see then hit Save.

If you don't like it and want to change it to something else click on the browser again and choose a new picture. when you have preview and like what you see click on save, Yahoo does the rest.
