How do i change my email address to a new name but still keep the same contacts?

by adding another account. go to compose and you'll see a drop line. make a new mail acct and follow the instructions. hope this helps

I have changed my name before,,

it is easy ....if u use Avatar..( that is the little cartoon lookin character.) like me.. i am blondie

they have it set up..that way... gooood luck

I believe you can export your yahoo address book to a csv format or something and then you can import the address book into the new account contacts that youve created. I will look further and try to post steps.

1. Create a New Email Address

2. Log in to old email address and export contacts

3. log in to new email address and import contacts

4. ask them to cancel the old account.

I always wondered that too, but apparently you have to create contacts all over again!!! I know, a pain huh?

I tried that before also but it gave me a headache. I think we should ask Yahoo and hopin they will give us the right things to do if possible.
