How do i change my name in Driving Licence in Bangalore.. I have an Affidavit. Please advice me the procedure?

And i have an affidavit with the signature of High court judge and tomo it wil come on news paper... how do i go about it....

You cannot change your name on driving licence or ration card or bank pass book merely by making affidavit.  You can tomorrow make affidavit that your name is Amitabh Bacchan but no government authority will accept it.  If you have changed your name because of change in martial status, you will have to submit marriage registration certificate.  If it is due to some other reason, it must be published in Government Gazette, not merely in newspaper.

i think ... apart from having an affidavit ... you need to print ur new name in atleast 3 newspapaer of bangalore
