How do i change my status on yahoo groups.com?

I'm not sure what exactly you mean by "status", but for each Yahoo Group, you can change several of your settings for that Group by logging in to the Group's home page, then clicking Edit Membership in the middle of the top line (just below the ad if there is one).  Look over the resulting page and change any settings you want to change.  Don't forget to click the Save Changes button (near the lower-right-hand corner) when you're done.

If you want to leave your group:Go to the group's site, click on edit membership along the top. In the next window scroll down and  check leave group Click save changes and you should be out. It may take a day to take effect.
