follow this link and put in the sub info (impedance (2,4, or 8ohms), number of subs and if they are DVC or SVC)

if you change the impedance you will be under or over powering your subs (if they were properly matched to begin with)

I can't help you with wiring because you didn't give me what the sub is, wether it is a DVC or SVC...
