  1. You just need to save the video in wmv format. But how to do this? Try:

Select "file" in the menu bar, then there will be a cascaded list, select "save as..." not "save" from the list. After that, there will several format options in which you can select wmv.

    Good Luck! Hope it's helpful

  2. You need to select "Save Movie File" rather than "Save Project".

  3. Open the video project in MovieMaker.

Under File, Save as... and select the appropriate format. Or there may be an Export command - and more choices there, too...

Just changing an extension does not make that file data change - as you have found.

  4. window movie make supports:

You can add content to your Windows Movie Maker project either by capturing content directly in Windows Movie Maker or by importing existing digital media files. The content you capture in Windows Movie Maker is saved in Windows Media Format. However, you can also import existing Windows Media-based content as well as other common file formats.

You can import files with the following file name extensions into Windows Movie Maker to use in your project:

Audio files: .aif, .aifc, .aiff .asf, .au, .mp2, .mp3, .mpa, .snd, .wav, and .wma

Picture files: .bmp, .dib, .emf, .gif, .jfif, .jpe, .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .tif, .tiff, and .wmf

Video files: .asf, .avi, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, and .wmv

Since AVI IS supported, your files may be corrupted, may have no video component, or have embedded DRM (copy protection).

You can make cool video/montage with Windows Movie Maker (for Windows users), iMovie (for Mac users) or OneTrueMedia (any operating system as long as you have Internet).

Here's an online tutorial on how to use Windows Movie Maker:

    http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using...

    iMovie tutorial:

    http://www.apple.com/support/imovie/tuto...

However, if you're a beginner, I would recommend you to use OneTrueMedia as it is very easy to use.

    Move maker to youtube

use windows movie maker (included in your windows machine)... it can help you make beautiful slideshow or video clip(e.g. mixing your songs with pictures/video/etc).... then save it as video file such as wmv or mpg... finally upload.

or .. Just get those clips you want , save & convert them, and then mix/match with pix/sound/etc using windows movie maker to create new masterpieces
