  1. No you can't change the underglass graphics unless you have the board skinned and reglassed. It may be more cost effective to swap out your board at a surf shop.

Spray paint a surfboard and within a few weeks of use expect it to chip and flake off. When it becomes an ugly mess, get out the sand paper and spend hours removing it.

  2. Everybody who answered so far has given you a good answer. You just have to keep in mind that the waves don't care what picture is on your board. I guess all of us like to have nice looking surfboards. I have had some really pretty ones. I also have had some UGLY sticks that rode great. But it is the way the board performs that is more important. If you consider the surfboard design a representation of self expression, instead of that, why don't you let the way you ride be a representation of real self expression.

  3. you can use paint pens also. its going to take you forever to cover a longboard with paint pen. paint pen art lasts somewhat longer than spray paint--but both are going to come off. i have spray paint on one board (it looks awful) and paint pen on 3 (they still look somewhat OK). ive since started airbrushing my blanks before they get glassed.

  4. If the artwork is under the glass you can't. If its on top of the glass good luck.... it is super hard to remove it.

  5. you can spray paint over the design (white). then you can spray paint a more colorful design over that.

*a light coat of paint is all you need
