How do i change the format of a kodak digital camera to be compatible with windows movie maker?

My camera is kodak the format says movie or "mov" and it wont upload videos on windows movie maker so how do i change it

wmmaker supports a limited array of video formats and mov isn't one of these

- convert file to avi or wmv...try Prism or Super

- edit the convert file
