How do i change the front and rear speakers on a 2.2 L 1997 pontiac sunfire SE?

Everything is manual no power locks no power windows

i need to know how to change the speakers because they are blown out (thanks to my sister). Automatic transmission.

ok, the rears are somewhat easy... fold down the back seat if you can or access them from the trunk. there's a metal frame that they connect to.. either they are attached to the bottom of that frame or more likely dropped into the holes from the top. So you'll probably have to take the rear cover off. shouldnt be too difficult... you'll see some pull tabs (4 i think) then just look. once you have all the tabs/clips removed you should be able to wiggle it loose.

as for the fronts... you'll have to take the door panels off to get to them. to do this you'll need to remove all the screws around the edge of the panels and two screws under the armrests. BUT the most important part (since we both have manuals windows) is the window crank handle. that has to come off and the only way to get if off is to remove the clip that is holding it on. unfortunately, its a PITA to get off. theres a tool that makes it pretty easy; some say you can use a rag. go to www.jbody.org and search around in the audio forum. should find some detailed directions. I'll respond again if i find the link. once you get that clip out the window crank will pull right off, then just wiggle the panel and pull in an up and outward direction and it should pop off as well. actually before pulling the panel off, it would be a good idea to take a flat head s***w driver and pry around the edges of the panel. there are some push tabs inside that are also holding that on there...
