  1. According to me as u told that you need to load OS always from optical disc then there is something wrong what ever configuration is in ur bios normal bios search for optical disc for few secs if not found boots in installed OS,so my suggestion let bios search for drive when not found it will boot os directly.

    For ur info

Try these keys to entry in Bios (different bios have different keys)

    F1

    F2

    DEL

    ESC

    F10

then go to boot option and change boot priorty from cd/dvd to harddisk  thats it.

  2. Your Boot sequence is wrong. Reboot your computer and when you get to the screen that says press Delete to enter setup, press delete.

In the setup use the cursor keys to get to Advanced BIOS Features. Press Enter. Halfway down you will see Boot Devices. If you have a CD drive and a DVD drive set them to > [use the PageU and PageD to change the settings]

    First Boot Device [CD ROM]

    Second Boot Device [CD ROM]

    Third Boot Device [HDD-0]

Additional Boot Devices [Disable] If you only have one drive set the Second Device to HDD-0 and disable the third.

Press Escape to leave. Use the cursor keys to get to Save and Exit setup.

Press Enter. A red box will come up saying

Save to CMOS & Exit Y/N  Press Y on the keyboard and Press Enter.

The computer will now reboot and should now boot all the way through without the disc.

  3. you must probably mean the boot order, the CMOS is just to keep the data and information, if you want to change the settings in your cmos, refer to your motherboards manual. if you go to CMOS, you have to ask yourself why your there, i pretty much go there to change the boot order to install XP, i would put the boot order for CD Drive first, then Second hard drive.

that's if you want to install XP, but i think i understand why the computer wants you to install and load the disk again, somewhere in there, you prob must have loaded XP, XP is just telling you to enter your DISK, because without it, it wont Finish the installation of Windows xp.
