How do i change this from a telling pragraph into a showing one..??

Question

My room is a mess, every time my mom gets in she tells me to pick up the clothes that are on the floor. Then when I do that she sees papers all over the floor.. when the room is finally clean and I have nothing on my floor. Then, when I wake up in the morning and change clothes the room gets massy again, clothes all of the floor. Then when my mom comes back in the room I tell her that I shouldn’t clean my room because it will get messy again in seconds..

"God! This room is a mess!" my mother said,looking at the piles of dirty clothes scattered like sand dunes across the floor. She goes through the same routing every day when she comes home. My room,for some reason,is her first stop. I got up and went over to the nearest pile and picked it up. I saw the papers that I'd scattered around with a vague idea of getting them into some order. No luck. With my mother glowering,I went through the room,like a tornado,although I couldn't understand why.

     "You know,Mom,as soon as I pick up everything,it'll only wind up back on the floor,so why should I?"

     She threw up her hands,uttered a short curse and stomped down the hallway
