How do i check for a spark in a wr 650?

i bought this ski used it has compression, its getting fuel,the carb was just professionaly cleaned and rebuilt. i was told to check for a spark. if some one can explain to me exactly how to do this it would be very apprecieated.

what he said, but make sure you are holding the plug with INSULATED pliers with a good rubber grip on them!

pull th eplug replace it back into the end of wire lay it up close to something medal and crank it over.... it should spark a blue frire if good yellow or nothing is bad.... but also be prepared.... dont be holdng the plug hold the wire cause it will shock the do out of ya sometimes
