How do i check if an online retailer is genuine??

Is there anywhere that lets you check if an online retailer is genuine? like somewhere you can enter the site address and it tells you weather their registerd or not? im looking to buy a new watch an could spend into the 100's but im not sure whos real or not when browsing online

.   Buy watches in person.  Not online.  You can check on pricegrabber.com to see some reviews on sellers.

go to www.bbb.org its the better business bureau it will tell you if its genuine or not
