  1. Just browse the website whatismyip.com and it will show you the IP of your machine. Then just disconnect internet and re-connect it, if you get the same ip while browsing the above website then you will have static IP....

  2. connect->start->run->cmd->ipconfig /all

    disconnect

    connect->start->run->cmd->ipconfig /all

    compare the 2 IP addresses you get.

  3. Even disconnecting/reconnecting may not change your IP if it's dynamic.  Just call your provider and ask.  It's almost certain that you have a dynamic address.  (Which router you have makes absolutely no difference.)

  4. if u have your own internet company such as comcast or verison fios then call them and say whats my ip or go to the command propmt in accessiors in the start menu -) programs then press in  ipconfig then press enter and bam!

  5. By the fact that you asked the question, I can say with some certainty that you have a dynamic address.  Static IP addresses are only offered by some ISPs and even then they usually cost a premium.  Basically if you didn't specifically ask for it and pay for it, then you most likely have a dynamic address.  Of course I'm assuming you are asking about your "real" ip address and not the internal nat'ed address space your router provides your internal machines.
