How do i check my system info on my computer?

my friend's dad is gonna hook me up with more ram on my pc and he needs my info on my comp i kno tht u have to go to run on the start menu but wat do i type to look up my system info on my computer?

  1. Please click on START menu, ALL PROGRAM, ACCESSORIES, SYSTEM TOOL, then SYSTEM INFO - there you go, all the info about your PC


  2. It would help if you said what operating system you had, but on windows you go to start->control panel->system

  3. Just right click on your 'My computer' icon and click properties. It'll show how much RAM you have.

    Or click 'start > control panel > switch to classic view at the left side of the windows > click on 'system'.
