How do i check to see whether i have a good video card on my computer?

i cant seem to get the yahoo music videos(or any other yahoo videos) to play.i've tried just about everything and all suggestions. i'm wondering could it be that i need a new video card and if so how do i check my computer to see if i have one? and if i dont where and how do i get one and install it? i have no problem playing youtube videos.(please in laymans terms). thanks so much for answers.

Right-click on "My Computer" and go down to "Properties" A box that says, "System Properties" should pop up. On the tabs above, there should be one called "Hardware" click there and once it's opened, click on "Device Manager" There you should see a list of devices. Look for "Display Adapters"
