How do i choose which tv to record stuff on?

i don't have tivo, i have dish dvr. i have 2 tvs. how do i pick the tv i want the show recorded on so i can watch tv on the other one

Hi RJ,

You don't have to pick the TV you want to watch. You can watch TV while the DVR is recording either the same or another channel.

The decision you have to make is which TV you want to watch your recordings on.

TVs have nothing to do with recording. What you are recording is the INPUT to the TV. So pick whichever you want to put the recorder on.

Actually, it is the Tivo that does the recording.  You should be able to record one program and watch another program on the same TV.

There should be two inputs on your Tivo, one can record a show and the other one can be used to watch a different channel on your TV.
