How do i clean a brown procelain tub?

I have a brown tub, not the traditional white. Every time i clean it whatever i use creates white streaks (BADLY). IT's bad. The tub looks disgusting even though i know it's clean. I've tried tub cleaner, CLR, comet (which was a bad choice)..Believe it or not i even tried windex. It helped fade the white streaks, but they are still there. Does anyone know of a product that will actually clean my tub without leaving white streaks?

Back in the 70's when we had a dark avacardo bathroom suite I found I had to use liquid cleaners not cream cleaners.  Try a liquid cleaner or even dishwashing liquid and rinse well and then buff up with a clean cloth.

If you are going to try liquid cleaners, I would suggest clorox disenfecting bathroom cleaner in a spray bottle

I also would suggest using sponges instead of a scrub brush
