How do i clean glass cups that have been yellowed by smoke?

these glass cups are from my great-grandmother who smoked and they look yellow because of it i want to get them clean and don't know of any home remedies that would work.

I smoke too try putting hot soapy water in the sink add a small amount of bleach soak overnight this should do the trick it also works well on tea and coffee stains.

The last answer about baking soda is the best - not too harsh on the environment.  However i would soak them overnight in baking soda and hot water, in the morning scrub them with more baking soda, then rinse with vinegar added to very hot water.  You are lucky to have a keepsake from your grandmother.

Rinse in ammonia and water and wipe with a sponge. It will come right off.

Try baking soda

or wash them with bleach and baking soda.

I would use vinegar. It does a great job.
