How do i clean my guinea pigs cage?

I just got fleece in my piggies cage. Im gonna clean it today. How do i clean it?

You shouldn't use fleece. You should use cedar, that way you can just dump it out & refill it.

FLEECE? ur supposed to use wood chips. but you take it out wash out the cage........have someone hold him while your doing it. or let him run around on the floor

Don't listen to the people telling you not to use fleece, ESPECIALLY the person saying you should use cedar!!

Anyway, It's not very hard, really. :] Just take out the fleece, and shake out the loose bits on it into a trash bag or outside in your yard. Then you can just toss it in the wash. Wipe down the cage bottom and whatever else needs cleaning with something like vinegar & water.

If you haven't already, a great idea is to get two or three different blankets for the cage, so then when you wash one, you can just put on a new one right away. :]

Just take it ouside and shake the poo's off, then wash it. In-between washes I used a small hand broom with a dustpan to clean it out. Fleece rocks!
