  1. When cleaning, start from the inside and slowly work your way out. Open the lid and allow the inside container to dry. Meanwhile, add a small amount of detergent into a bucket of water. Grab a clean sponge, dip it into the mixture, and use it to scrub the inside container of the washing machine. Be sure to get at those hard-to-reach areas.

Afterwards, when you’re done scrubbing, pour the entire bucket into the washing machine and set it to spin. This should thoroughly clean the container in case you missed some spots. Drain and rinse thoroughly.

  2. i usually run a load of just water... baking soda..and some bleach. i dont use detergent. i also make sure to put it on extra rinse

  3. First you need to remove the agitator which is the plastic paddle that moves backwards and forwards in wash mode.

Why? because it may be oil leaking that is marking your clothes.

Once you have checked this out....you need to clean the filter in the centre of the agitator. Remove the cup on top and pull the centre right up and out.  Use a handbrush and a sugar soap/warm water solution to brush it clean. Wear rubber gloves to protect your hands!!!!!!

To clean your machine fill it  to max with warm water then add a couple of cups of Sugar Soap concentrate. Start the wash cycle and let it agitate for the WashTime only then turn the machine off. Leave it overnight then empty and do a complete wash cycle without clothes using Warm Wash.

That should do the trick............provided the problem is NOT leaking oil!

  4. I just give the drum a quick clean with a nylon scourer.  And as the other person said run an empty load with bleach or bicarb.

  5. What kind of marks?  Oily marks could signal a problem with the machine itself.  Otherwise, I'd try running a load of old towels and use dishwasher detergent and hot water.  Let the washer fill and start to agitate, then shut it off for about an hour so it can "soak".  Then go turn it back on.  A dose of white vinegar in the fabric softener dispenser wouldn't be a bad idea either.

    Good Luck!
