How do i clean up golf club shafts?

My golf clubs have been sat in the garage for a year without being used (took a year off playing) with the result that the steel shafts have become slightly pitted. Anybody have any experience as how to remove the tiny rust spots.

  1. remember to treat the shafts after rust removal or they will rust again use a rust remover/converter

    don't forget the grips sand them with a medium grit and wipe with alcohol

  3. I find when mine get dusty i find wacking grannys round the head a few times cleans them up a treat!

  4. My brother uses 3 in 1 oil to remove the rust spots on his golf clubs.. it works a dream

  5. NAVAL JELLY WILL DO THE TRICK... YOU CAN GET IT AT ANY HOME IMPROVMENT STORE... "HIT 'EM STRAIGHT"

  6. I'd go with a fine steel wool.

  7. try rubbing the shaft

  8. try using t cut it gets rid of all rust

  9. a fine steel wool works wonders for minor rust. better than any rust remover

    I garuntee you wont be disapointed!

  10. baking soda and water, make a paste and rub until good as new.
