  1. bring up the list and hold the delete button down on each one

  2. What I did was install webroot window washer .. it will clear cashe, cookies , temp files, and more .. of course it's not free but it is worth the money as it saves on drive space and keeps nosey people honest . You can set it to  " wash " after you close your browser or every time you shutdown or start your computer .In one setion alone it might clear 10 or more meg depending on what you surfed or did .

You can also , once you close your browser , on your task bar click on start , then , control pannel , then Internet options .there you should see  either clear history , or depending on what version of windows your running a host of other things .. you can also set the  time allowed to save your history , set it for 1 day ..

  3. Click on Tools. Then Internet Options. Click on Content and then Auto Complete. Then click on Clear Forms. This will erase your search history. If you don't want things showing up again in your search history then deselect the Auto Complete options at the top. Be sure to select apply or ok at the bottom.

  4. It depends on if you have Internet Explorer 6 or Interernet Explorer 7. If you are not sure if you have 6 or 7, 6 has the green back and forward buttons and no Tabs, and 7 has clear blue plasticy back and forward buttons and tabs. If you have Internet Explorer 6, than there should be an icon at the top of the screen with a picture of a clock and arrow. If you do not see it than i is probably under the more section a the end of the list with a small >> icon. Once you are on the History it will be organized into folders by date. You can delete an entire date by clicking it and pressing delete or select individual websites. from there you can click on a websites folder and delete individual web pages. If you have Interernet Explorer 7, then click on the Favorites icon, which is the gold star upper left corner, then select History at the top of the menu that pops up. From there it is the same as Internet Explorer 6.
