To another answerer, " just delete the entire group in general" is what the questioner is asking.

You cannot delete the group just by leaving the group. It is still there.

To fully remove the group you need to remove everyone else, as well as yourself, from the group. Facebook will automatically delete groups with 0 members after X number of days.

simple, click on 'leave group' n then it will get deleted

just exit being an adminstrator.

if there's inappropriate stuff and you need to shut the WHOLE THING down...  just delete the entire group in general
