Ok i have my own Myspace site and i was wondering how do i exactly code and pretty much create a skin from scratch.

If you could send me to a tutorial page that shows me how to make one please do so.

AND PLZ DONT SEND ME TO A Fxcking generator site!

i want my own to redistribute to other people!

sorry for swearing but i am just tired of people sending me to generators because i want to make everything myself.

  1. Well,

If you want to distribute skins to other people, you want to read this:

    http://views-under-construction.blogspot...

I appreciate that you want to make everything yourself, rather then taking from others.

However,  without prior coding knowledge, it is not likely that you are just going to figure out how to code music player skins without using the work done by others.

However, if you know css and html well enough, to read through the myspace core code, and figure out how to manipulate it, then you could come up with your own code.

Otherwise, you are leveraging the work that others took the time and effort to come up with.

As far as coding it, the code that is being used, all over cyberspace, is my creation (something I took the time to figure out how to do, and took the time to test.)

The other sites (with 1 maybe 2 exceptions) are either using my code or a slight derivative of my code.  But they are profiting from my work and effort, and very few have felt that they should credit me for this.

If you are willing to work with me, I can help you offer skins, that you create, on your site.

I can help you with many other things as well.

[css is about way more then making backgrounds.  The myspace core code is a combination of html and css and scripting.  Reading and understanding it, well enough to do interesting tweaks, is more difficult than just writing from scratch.]

  2. learn HTML, and CSS

HTML is pretty much everything except Layouts.

CSS is pretty much just making backgrounds.

its pretty much a 2 week process to learn 100% of both.

I learned HTML in 3 days, and CSS in about 7
