How do i configure my sleep mode (VISTA)?

sometimes i press a weird button on my keyboard and it automatcly sleeps and dosnt really wake up until i restart my computer, and it really sucks because then i loose all my sh*t i was working with

anyways, does anyone know how to configure that?

by control panel or anything ?

  1. Yes, if you go into control panel you will see that there is an entire area for power options, go in there and explore.

    If you don't want it to do that you can set the options all to "never" and also turn off the hibernation ability.


  2. 1. Go to the Control Panel.

    2. Select Classic View in the left pane.

    3. Double-click Power Options.

    4. Go to the current power plan and select Change advanced power settings.

    5. Select Change advanced power settings.
