Here are the model numbers: tv - PDP6010FD, receiver - VSX-92TXH, blu-ray player - BDP-HD50-K. I need to know what cables (HDMI or otherwise) go where; ie...HDMI from the Blu-Ray to the TV. That type of thing.

  1. well first of all i would hook it up to where everything would run THROUGH the reciever so that u could just select source on that and it would change ur tv picture without having to change the tv channel....thats how i did mine.....now on that note just find all the outputs on each unit.....i would go from the most top of the line to the loest as in i would go hdmi if it had it then dvi if not hdmi then svideo and so forth.....if u have all ur outputs found then now locate all the inpouts on the back of ur reciever...they should also be labeled something like.....tv/sat...dvd....vcr/aux....cabl... of that nature.....then u will want to go from the output of ur source ( blu ray player, cable or sat box etc....to the appropriate input on the back of ur reciever....hook up the audio AND video thru it.....then when all ur sources are hooked up THEN run only 1 wire from ur reciever OUT to the INPUT of ur tv....now whenever u watch bluray just select that source on ur reciever and u will see that....if u change to tv/sat then it will change ur screen for ur WITHOUT having to change channels all the time =) nice huh?....just make sure that u find the right channel ur tv has to be on before u think it doesnt work...sometimes tv has to be on channel 3 sometimes 4 mine has an aux channel and has to be on that...sometimes it 0 or 00....check to make sure then ENJOY=)
