  1. The answer is in the question my friend.

  2. put one from the dvd to the sky, and the other to the tv and the sky then put the tv ariel in thae sky box.....thats how we do it anyway

  3. hghghghhgh ***

  4. Sony site gives the recommended connection :

    http://support.sony-europe.com/tutorials...

  5. Connect the TV-out SCART on the Sky box (not the VCR scart as you might think) to the DVD recorder input (on Sony products this is often called AV3).

Connect the TV-out SCART on the DVD recorder to SCART1 of the TV.

It's important to use the first SCART socket on most TVs as thats often the only one that supports full RGB for the best quality (the others are svideo etc). Do not use the VCR SCART on the Sky box as it only supports composite video (low quality).

Edit: "Rachel f" you should chain the devices with the recorder in the middle. If you have two cables to the Sky box, one of your devices (the DVD recorder) is not getting the best quality signal and your screen might not automaticaly change for widescreen programmes correctly.
