How do i connect my Xbox microphone to my computer?

I have just brought rock band and was wondering how to connect the microphone for it to the computer, it is a USB microphone but everytime i plug it in it says Unknown device... Any ideas? x

For it to work you will need software called 'drivers' for your device to work and communicate with your computer, drivers are normaly availavle for download from the anufacturers website or may come on a disk with the device.

I am not sure if there are drivers availavle for the microphone you have, you will have to find out.

go to radio shack and get a converter

If you are trying to use the microphone on your computer to record audio it wont work you need to plug a microphone into the MIC port.
