How do i connect my hard drive recorder to recieve sky tv so i can record sky,?

my hard drive recorder has an inbuilt freeview and i cant seem to find sky through it, any ideas cheers

As far as I know you don't get Sky through freeview apart from about 3 programmes. you will have to get a sky dish and sky box to receive Sky fully I think.

If it is connected by a scart lead, you need to locate the "AV" channel it is using, by using the appropriate button on the TV remote.
