How do i connect my xbox 360 to work as a TV on my computer?

i just got an xbox 360 and im trying to set up live. i dont want to buy the $100 wireless 360 internet connecter so im try to connect to the internet through the ethernet wires. only way i can do that is to use my moniter as my tv because my HD television is to far away. ( i already have a wireless connector connected to my computer.) ive already tried useing my wireless connector to plug into to the USB but nothing happened, still no internet for my 360 =( help!!

I'm not sure I'm understanding our question, so I'll give it a try:

Your 360 *has* to have a LAN connection to access LIVE either via the ethernet RJ45 port on the back of your 360 or thru a wireless adapter that plugs into the ethernet port on the back of the 360. That in turn, though, has to connect to either a wireless router (access point) or a computer that has a wireless access point installed on IT'S USB port. Those in turn have to connect to either your dsl or cable modem or router which then connects to the dsl or cable modem.

Then you have to set it all up correctly so the 360 can access an IP address and other LAN information.

You can use your computer monitor for your 360. If your monitor has AV inputs use the 360 av cable. Otherwise you'll to get an adapter for your monitor to 360 vid connection.

i had the same problem

instead of buying the 100$ wireless internet i got some $30 one that works better its called a wireless internet port if im not mistaken and it works well... just go to Best Buy or w.e and ask

So if ur asking if u can use ur computer moniter as a tv. I dont think u can ive tried to figure out a way but i cant.
