How do i connect to a friends laptop?

how do i connect to a friends PC. She asked me to help her to clean up her PC and she isn't understanding my instructions? Plz. step by step or if there a program to download.

If she is on your network,then your computer can be shared.maybe on a LAN or Wlan,or a network cable  passing through a switch or a router.

go to start menu all programs> accessories>communication>remote desktop connection

then follow the instructions. both you and she. then you can assist her
