Hi, I’m Cody, and I’m working with the Windows Vista Outreach Team to help answer questions that users might have about their copies of Vista.

One option you definitely have is following zonerdck’s advice and enabling file sharing.  Microsoft has prepared a very handy guide for enabling file sharing at their website, so I’ll provide you with a link: http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows...

Unfortunately, according to the Vista  Help and How-To website, “You cannot use Remote Desktop Connection to connect to remote computers running Windows XP.”  Here’s a link to that page:   http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows...

Hopefully, these links were helpful.  Let me know if I can provide you with any other information.

    Thanks,

    Cody
